Not exactly sure of a couple things. 1) How do you know my culture? And, 2) Don't think it is "appropriation" when a tribal elder hosted the meeting and invited us as "family" to participate. If any faux pas was committed, I would say it is on him, not me, the invited guest. Would you consider it "cultural appropriation" when someone who is not Jewish attends a Yom Kippur service? Additionally, peyote is not "endangered." The people who aren't supposed to have access to it don't know where to look.
